Terms of Service

Overview

Tasky is a macOS application built and sold by me (ibnuh), an individual developer. By purchasing or using Tasky, you agree to the following terms.

License

When you purchase Tasky, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the application on a single Mac that you own or control. Each purchase includes 1 year of app updates from the date of purchase.

• After your year ends, Tasky continues to work. You keep the version you have.
• To receive new updates, you can renew your license for $12/year.
• You may not redistribute, resell, or sublicense Tasky or your license key.

Free trial

Tasky includes a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start the trial. After the trial ends, a license is required to continue using the app.

Refunds

You can request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. To request a refund, use the Contact page.

Payments

All payments are processed through Polar.sh. Your payment information is handled entirely by Polar; I never see or store your payment details.

System requirements

Tasky requires macOS 13 (Ventura) or later and Accessibility permission. Screen Recording permission is optional (for window thumbnail previews). It is your responsibility to ensure your system meets these requirements before purchasing.

Disclaimer

Tasky is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. While I do my best to ensure the app works reliably, I cannot guarantee it will be free of bugs or compatible with every macOS configuration. Tasky modifies Dock behavior (hiding/restoring) and manages windows via the Accessibility API; use is at your own discretion.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Tasky. Total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the license.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a new date. Continued use of Tasky after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
